Not really a set piece. Do you mean the shipyard where you swim in between the boats and stuff? The first part of that was extremely good level design imo and one of my favorite parts in the series. A set piece though involves cutscene's worked into gameplay/Building collapse etc. The shipyard didn't really have anything going on besides the raw gameplay

L4D lagged on a 8800GT? Haha, there's something wrong with your PC. Your graphics card smashes the two games you mention. Know how I know? Because I have a 8800GTX and mine obliterates them. Yes...my lowly GPU which is only a bit better than the 8800GT completely destroys L4D.

I think they are all of the same quality, 7 is just my favorite due to...I don't even know(I even played 8 and 10 before it). I guess the mood and constant additions to the gameplay(there is about 50-70 minigames in the game, some are huge side quest minigames, others are just...additions which I love)
That's unfortunate, there's so many good First person perspective games

A: Completely wasted Bioshocks experience because Easy is too easy for you
B: Just suck at games and couldn't enjoy it without it being on easy.

Good user blog on the subject ^^. The Shadow fall gameplay trailer was painfully unlike Killzone. The graphics won't be enough to mask what happened to the gameplay for me. I wonder how the casuals will react when this releases
