couldnt agree more, so many people buy it just for the R4, and in reality, there games still sell millions, and the ds really couldnt cost that much to make, now that they are using cheap LCD screens(crimson/black ds was the start) so they still make money, i think they DO want people to know about it.
seriously, for being out a year later then the 360, the ps3 has about the same amount of good games(not talking about overrated, halo 3) and the xbox really is out of games, gears 2, and fable 2, yeah.
as a xbox 360, even i can admit that it breaks more than that
marathon wasnt bad, but halo isnt THAT good, halo 1 was innovative, the other 2 was rehashing.
people who say MGS4 is overrated havnt played it, because you wouldnt be saying such a thing.
the single players wraps up most of the questions from the series and is emotional as ever, and if you hate the online, its cause you suck, because they have made a system that takes time to get god, your character gets better. and YOU yourself gets better.
so go play it before you pass judgment.

kep in mind that most of the reviews of gears and halo3 are hype, do you really think halo 3 is as good as half life 2 or bioshock? do you think that gears deserves higher merritt then say ratchet or uncharted? a true game would say no, a fanboy would say yes.
yeah right now R2 doesnt look as good, but insomniac does gameplay first, graphics are an afterthought, and still, ratchet is arguably the best looking game on the ps3, and if its true that the final game will be as big as a graphical leap as ratchet, ill be damned if it didnt look better then gears 2.
but i dont know how gears made it, the campaign is horrid
