I'm thankful for the fact that in Canada we celebrate Thanksgiving in October, that way I'm not stuffed on Black Friday :)

I'm glad this is still alive, I remember hearing about it back in 2010 and haven't heard much more than the odd whisper since. As a spiritual successor to the NiGHTS series this game has really interesting concepts and mechanics, can't wait to play it!

@MrWriter

WindWaker isn't an exclusive because it's a remake right? Did you know that Muramasa was released on the Wii first? Actually I think it's pretty funny how you write off the WiiU's library as being full of "Remakes, re-releases, re mixes" when your own list for the Vita is populated by titles as different to their predecessors as things like New Super Mario Bros U is to its predecessors.

I'm not doubting or hating on the...

They should also make a super duper ultra rare one-of-a-kind Subsisterectomy Edition.

What does it include? The game, an art book, a music CD, and a copy of Zone of the Enders 3 that Kojima found while cleaning his basement.

I don't think it's "stealing" when Kamiya went to various publishers and got rejected several times before Nintendo offered to fund the project...

You have a vita avatar so I can't help but think that your opinion might be the slightest bit biased lmao

Of course I respectfully disagree, there are plenty of great games everywhere, what console or handheld you get is really a matter of taste.

A PS4 is way out of my price range as a student right now, but I still nonetheless really want this game... If it's Gundam more often than not I will buy it and enjoy it.

I'll happily pick this up when I can afford it, but for now I'll stick to the ExVS series on PS3.

^ @Concertoine The DSi had a few retail exclusives IIRC, they came in these white cartridges and made is very explicit on the packaging that they can only be played on DSi.

As for my thoughts on this, it's good to see Nintendo unifying things, hopefully this means cross-compatibility with WiiU for certain titles, given how Nintendo wanted the NNID to be your ticket to entertainment across multiple platforms. As for the exclusivity of titles like the Xenoblade port, I'...

Just in time for Build Fighters Try, lol.

Can't wait, hopefully the newer MGs and HGBF/HG All Gundam Project get representation.

That's what marketing is. Are the free games with PS+ or Live Gold considered "nice gestures"? They're just incentives to get you to buy the product, just like this promotion was. There are no "nice" or "mean" corporations. The people behind them may be nice or mean but the purpose of the corporation itself is to generate revenue.

If it's making money you leave it be, if it's not making money you try something else that potentiall...

I don't really agree with some of your points, I can't name a single 2D Zelda or Metroid that has come out since 2005 (rereleases don't count). Also there were tons of franchises getting rebooted or new IPs emerging during the Wii era (Punch Out, Rhythm Heaven, Glory of Heracles, Excite series, Brain Age, etc.) but for some reason people pretend that they just don't exist. I think having a steady stream of old IPs returning and new IPs emerging is the way to do it, and I suppo...

2005 was such a magical time to be a kid for me, I played Superstar Saga and The Thousand Year Door together. Both excellent games and they're probably the ones that I replay the most. Sometimes I wish I could go back to those days, when Nintendo wasn't afraid of taking risks. Both games were funny, and I mean really funny. I think the best comparison of the Mario games of the past with the ones of today is Galaxy 1 and Galaxy 2. Galaxy 2 had tight gameplay and lots of challenge to ha...

I wouldn't really hold my breath for an hd remake. It MIGHT happen but tbh this is a game that still looks gorgeous to this day (I was just playing it yesterday on an HDTV and it still looks really good). There's a lot of copies of the game floating around on ebay and flea markets (IIRC it had both a players choice reprint and was bundled with the gamecube towards the end of its life), I'm sure you can find one for a reasonable price (maybe under 10 bucks). Best of luck to you, an...

@NiteX I hit disagree on accident, sorry... N4G should really give you the option to remove votes.

That being said, I suppose Nintendo was just trying to attract both the casual and hardcore crowds with the console, the casuals were supposed to flock to a second Wii while the hardcore crowd (who usually do more research) were supposed to flock to a console with more power in it than the Wii.

I also suppose that trying to attract too many people often results ...

Having played other Dynasty Warriors games online with friends, in my opinion it's no real detriment. There's not a whole lot of tactics you can really implement with 2 people (especially online where lag can take a bit away from the experience), it's more like you take one side, they take the other, and the mission gets done fairly quick.

It would most likely be nowhere near as involved as MK8, and I'm fairly certain that the game would stand tall even as a s...

MGS4 was 2014. Also there has always been advanced technology in some fields that are way ahead of our time in the Metal Gear universe. I believe it's supposed to be ironic that they have advanced bipedal nuclear tanks since the onset of the 70s but still have regular old Walkmans by the mid 70s.
