Im not saying they cant do this, and believe me I hope to God that this really is true, but I have seen so far no proof, and a guy, supposed 'developer', saying "finally" on the thread isnt the kind of proof that Im looking for, that this is officially true.

no one is saying its impossible, you can get over 60 on Half-life2 and Counter-strike source, but if you add up all the stuff thats there, its way to good to be true.

the fastest and best way for Sony to increase its software sales is to get some really good RPG's out for the PS3 ... like say umm maybe FFxiii and FFversus ... Japan loves RPG's and especially the FF series ...

well having worked in retail myself, i can tell you it's usually because you're sick of stupid customers, or in this case ignorant parents so its kind of normal tho that doesnt necessarily justify it

Japan is getting it way before the US or EU, however there were reports that the demo is supposed to hit PSN on October 24th which would effectively be next Thursday's update. That means that just because Japan gets the demo already doesn't mean we do.
just as with all new technologies, as it advances product cost will go down. just think of LCD and Plasmas; 7 years ago they averaged over 10 grand and now u can get a good 46" for about 2.
