The console that takes discs will still comfortably outsell a disc-less console. Believe it or not the majority of gamers still dont have internet access.
I dont know how Bioware is going to fix this game before launch because it was bug infested to a point where I got so frustrated that I just switched it off. For instance on several occasions I got sent back to the main menu when I was suppose to re-spawn. From my knowledge a demo is supposed to show off a segment of the complete and finished product right? Wrong, at least not anymore, this demo felt more like a beta.
This game has a lot of potential but it must be delayed ...
I dont care if I get disagrees or not but anyone who pays more just to get early access for this game is a moron. There I said it. If you pay extra for early access you have no right to criticise EA because you are helping with this predatory practice.
BF5 has been discounted at my local game store by 50% permanently and its still not selling even with the free merchandise that they are giving with it.
Here we go again, 2012 all over again. Its not going to happen. Sony's hand is too strong, for instance if Sony announces a game like Horizon Zero Dawn 2 as a launch title MS will already be on the back foot.
Another poor move from MS, its been proven time and time again that Xbox gamers do not support Japanese games.
Not that this affects me at all but I think this exclusivity deal with Epic is going to backfire and on top of that Kotaku has come out attacking Steam users calling them "toxic" but regardless if you believe Steam users are toxic or not, given what has happened over the last year or so, if I was the developer I would tell sites like Kotaku to STFU.
Well GOW has the single camera shot which I believe is very innovative especially as a technical achievement.
What exactly is the evolution of games? I think people have lost the concept of the word "game", some of the best games out today are indie games which are basic but fun. To the point of the article though, the author of this article is mistaking evolution for innovation of which PS devs are market leaders in. Dreams and GOW quickly come to mind.
"Well, how often do we see something that is genuinely PC exclusive on the basis of computing power? Games like St...
I would have to say my top 5 is:
1. Death Stranding
2. Ghost of Tsushima
3. Cyberpunk
4. Metro Exodus
5. Dreams
People werent upset because of the lack of the Raimi suit, yes some people were out of line but mostly people were ticked off by Insomniacs response to the request of the Raimi suit.
And so the "progressives" keep digging that hole deeper and deeper.
"Microsoft's Xbox 360 became the standard-bearer for video game consoles of its generation, and it remained that way"
WHAT! Sony gifted MS a year head start and a problematic PS3 launch and the PS3 still ended up crushing the 360. Sorry Business insider but xbox has always just been along for the ride. With the exception of the Wii , the PS has always been the front runner in the console market spanning almost 25 years.
WHAT!!! I dont believe you, this is obviously "FAKE NEWS!". SP games are dead, DEAD I TELL YOU! EA themselves said so, so its impossible for an SP game to sell this well.
Actually this never mattered not even between 2013 and 2017, they created for clicks.
Does this matter?
The sad part is there idiots who will buy this crap.
They are already trying to pull the wool over the gaming community's face. This game is going to be another dumpster fire riddled with controversies and MTs.
"It’s now taken as gospel that the future of a game isn’t written in stone when it first comes out."
This is one of the saddest things I've read in a long time.
Publishers: It doesn't matter if the game is finished or not, we will just "try" to fix it after launch and have the gaming community pay for it.
It looks like MS is moving over to service and publishing and shifting its focus away from xbox as an exclusive brand. Which begs the question, why acquire all those dev companies? The logical answer is they will develop multiplats under MS publishing.
