I am primarily a SP gamer so absolutely.
I am surprised there is only one MS fail on this list because I can think of quite a few but surly the Kinect fake reveal and timing mishap must be on this list.
I also think that even though it wasnt revealed at E3, Diablo's mobile reveal was so catastrophic that it should have made this list.

Not the same thing. A phone is multi tool whereas consoles are entertainment centres with its prime function being for gaming so phones will be more expensive. Also you dont buy a game every so often for your phone at least not primarily. If you dont buy games for your PS4 or Xbox you basically have a $400 brick.

I agree but I dont think that inflation will play such a large role in the pricing of the PS5, if it did then the PS4 would have been significantly more expensive than the PS3. My hope is that the PS5 comes in at between 450 and 499 which is still more expensive than what the PS4 launched at but what I think is a reasonable asking price.

I dont think so, the PS4 was priced the same as the PS3 and less than the PS3's launch price which was, if I remember correctly around a near disastrous $600.

If Pachter is right about the price point of $800 and thats a big if, it could be problematic. However I have read several other articles that stated the PS5 will be priced the same as the PS4. Time will tell.
PS4 had no competition via its dominance and yet Sony gave us the best games this gen and some of the best games of any gen.
