Sorry to break the news to you bud, no one is "trying" to beat COD or Halo, they ARE beating COD and Halo.
KZ2, BFBC 1;2, MAG, and now KZ3(Read review OPM) and Crysis2
I can also tell you that if EA continued with Black, COD would have been just another game.
I dont think this game is going to do as well as crytek hopes, not on the PS3 anyway not with Infamous 2 rumored to release about the same time and with all the great exclusives on the way and I think most of the xbox gamers will be holding out for Gears 3.

An E rating and yet hardcore gamers can and will pick-up and play, something the other systems are lacking at the moment.

The big difference here is that not only do allot of games borrow game play from God of War they actually borrow the god of war.

Dumb comparison, MGS4 is a classic, SC Conviction not so much. It would have been a better head to head if they compared MGS4 with SC Chaos theory.
I understand what you are saying but what I meant was the way the guys are going on just strengthens his case, sometimes no response is the best response.
