Well according to this almost 500k people bought the game in its first week lol, thats more than the established Forza could handle lol. At the end of the day a fantastic game was made because Sony stuck to their guns which as of this moment a million+ people are enjoying.
I agree but my argument is that there are contributing factors as to why people dont buy a product as apposed to just saying "consumers left the market". In my opinion its poor research.

Facts are facts I suppose but to say that console gamers have left the market isnt really accurate, many factors contribute those figures the biggest of these is money, no matter how we spin it, it will always play a roll, allot of consumers simply cant keep up with inflation. Another factor is the waiting game, the Playstation showed growth this December compared to last and that is thanks to the Pro with many console gamers waiting its release.
Is this a list for top 10 earning or selling? Because the earnings for a game like Super Mario, not including online, would be considerably less than the earnings of a game like Skyrim and if you include online I just cant see a game like Tetris with all its copies sold, let alone any of the wii games on that list, even coming close to what today's games are "earning".
Not really, if you were comparing specs then I would say yes but this is simply about sales.

Thats the problem, for all MS chest beating about the power of the Scorpio the whole package is not going to be cheap at all. You are easily looking at $2000 and that is with one of the cheaper 4k TVs.

In all seriousness though, I think the Switch will comfortably outsell the Scorpio. Even though the Switch is more expensive than I thought it would be it will still be cheaper and it wont require a $1500 4k TV whereas with the Scorpio, to take full advantage of it, you will need 4k otherwise you might as well just stick with the Xbox1...
