The future of gaming isnt the Stadia, I can promise you that. The Stadia is DOA and unlike MS's model you are still going to pay full price for the games and a subscription fee making the Stadia $200 more expensive than conventional consoles.
Of course Ubisoft is excited about it. It means that whomever plays on the Stadia wont be able to trade in their games and thus cuts out the second hand market. Its all about money, it always is. It completely baffles me that there are people who actually fall for this.
Thats all great until your line connection is down or you realise that the games do not belong to you and that Ubisoft and others can lock you out if they think you did something wrong in their eyes.

You put way too much faith in the improvement of the internet. Also streaming services like Netflix are in financial trouble and Disney's streaming service hasn't even released yet and they have already cancelled over dozen shows and its not because there is a problem with the internet, its because people are losing interest.
I predict that game streaming will go the same route because so much more can go wrong with streaming a game than with simply streaming a tv ...
Not a generation I will be a part of. Call me old fashioned but I prefer owning my games and being able to play them offline.

Your doubt is wrong and wishful thinking. The movie has got nothing to do with the game, Spiderman 2 will be a PS exclusive and it will be developed by Insomniac.
If they show new gameplay from GoT I will be set.

Resistance should be right along side Spiderman 2. Just replayed R3 last week and damn that game is still amazing. Just like KZ3 it has aged fantastically well.
