I can't think of many games that have been blessed with so many added features via DLC.
Seriously, if you don't own this game, at least go rent it. You'll see what you've been missing. It's a great game...mindless fun.. and Criterion is making sure you don't forget about it.
They deserve your support.
getting prompted to install software from an untrusted source ??
exactly what kind of TV do you have?
I have to fess up and admit I owned a copy of this. I couldn't WAIT for it to come out. Even though I knew it was gonna suck. I was rootin' for the home team..what can I say.
OMG Yes
HE DIDN'T SHOOT IT DOWN! He just said that they have not officially announced the date. He didn't confirm OR deny the release date from Sony.
Lag has nothing to do with processor speed. it's a byproduct of latency on a network. You could have the brains of a super computer in your 360 or PS3, but if it has to wait on information from the internet, about where to place your teammates of your screen, it doesn't matter. Like anything electronic, it's only as fast as it's slowest parts.
Well said.
The king is dead. Long live the king.
And I don't even have a PSP..yet. Nice find OP.
PLEASE! You can't port a 360 game to the PS3 and expect it to look like the 360 version!! Yes, the PS3 is a complicated SOB. Yes, you MUST code a PS3 game from the ground up to get it to shine....that is the nature of the beast. Blame Sony for making it that way and blame the devs for not tapping the power of PS3. but don't sit here and say the PS3 can't make a game on par or better than 360.
Truth be told, if you want the better game right NOW, the 360 is your bet (or a Wii)....
The three console definately appeal to two different segments of the market. It doesn't make sense to develop a hardcore FPS on the Wii when it will not sell that well compared to an easier to play, more accessible game that takes advantage of what the Wii brings.
THQ is not hating on any of the formats..he's just being smart about how they divide their development resources.
"Reality is what really matters. Right now the 360 has a huge lead in games -- and -- by the better looking games when it comes to multiplatform offerings (with only one or two debateable exceptions)."
Very true, but the difference in multiplatform games is because of the devs..not the hardware. It doesn't change the fact that your statement is true, it just gives it some context. We are not seeing better 360 games because the 360 hardware is superior. We are seeing b...
First off, the PS3 multiplatform games we have seen have been 360 ports for the most part. Any developer who is being honest will tell you, the PS3's architecture dictates that the best PS3 game be built for the PS3 from scratch. A 360 port will never look better because it will never be optimized for the PS3. Who's fault is that? Sony's of course. BUT just because it is harder to bring ports over, doesn't mean it was a fatal mistake. As the user base grows (or Sony buys more devs), more deve...
They're already out.
This whole business of getting keys has gotten old, really quick. Every time I see an announcement, I beat feet over to the site and they're all gone.
