You underestimate the abilities of mass-production.
Lot's of nintendo fanboys in this thread.
I've played every Zelda game and I will be playing this one.
I've also been painfully waiting for Skyrim since it was announced.
This article is just pointless because both games are completely unique experiences and have only one similarity: RPG elements.
They are going to have vastly different fanbases.
Everyone needs to just go to the next news article.
Haters gonna hate.
You determined all this in a 20 min video?
Crappy script? It wasn't bad. I can agree with you on this one a bit. However, Bethesda has and isn't known for their fantastic writing and character development. Go play a Bioware game.
These voices dance circles around Oblivion.
We saw what...3 mins of combat footage? The player was no doubt still learning the mechanics and he is only level one. No skills, no perks, and he didnt use a...
Name them.
Nevermind.
This video's length could be cut in half at least, if he would just write up a script or something beforehand.
Quote: "@wobblyonion. Thanks for the info but It wasn't in the Lazygamer article. Its a bit much to read the article on the N4g front page, then come to this page, then follow the link to Lazygamer, then check their source with ResEdit?! The moral of the story is I just won't click out on their articles anymore. "
Except that it says right there Remembrance Day, which is November 11th. You have no excuse not to know that unless you aren't American.
Is this the new Minecraft game? I see the word Scrolls so I'm confused.
So what, will these maps be like randomly generated locations to go explore and you will find loot or something?
Or maybe something similar to the Dark Brotherhood's Dead Drop way of questing, but for simply treasure (obviously)?
What the FUCK is going? Is it October Fool's Day or something?

Newly received or noteworthy information, esp. about recent or important events.

Notice it says newly OR noteworthy. PC requirements being on the way is new to me.
Was this necessary? Probably not a week in advance. Is it that big of a deal that it is this far in advance? Sadly, apparently to some...for some reason.
Haters gonna hate.
Hell ya! Can't wait! Here's hoping it uses DirectX11.
I hope arrows can't be looted off a corpse (the ones you used to kill) seeing that in the demo where Todd Howard is playing, he one-shots an enemy...twice.
Edit: I posted on the wrong site.
This article is pointless, just like the lawsuit. Of course Bethesda care about sales being affected, but they clearly care more about settling this lawsuit than the sales that "might" be lost from said lawsuit.
Pretty bold statement for citing nothing to back you up.
1)Ok true, you didn't state he chose Kingdoms over Skyrim. Maybe he did get burnt out, maybe he didn't, but where are you getting this "he chose retirement rather than make another redundant Elder Scrolls game?" Making claims without backing any of it up is just pointless dribble.
My guess is the thought of making his own game with his own studio was simply all he needed to come out of retirement, which you just stated.
2)Maybe they did pr...
But you are wrong. All of that is not combined into one piece.
Chest shoulders and legs are now combined into what is called armor. Helmet, gloves, and boots are still separate.
They have already stated that the reason for this is so they could make a lot more variations of armor.
@CBaoth - Ken retired before 2007, right after Oblivion was released. In 2007 he joined Big Huge Games. Skyrim was only briefly "talked about" until a...
HOLY SHIT. Please do not read that article! It is full of ignorance and pure falsifications. People need to realize that Bethesda the DEVELOPER has nothing to do with Elder Scrolls Online and their desire to stop producing content for Skyrim does not in anyway whatsoever mean they are doing it to work on ESO.
Elder Scrolls Online is being developed by Zenimax Studios and produced by Bethesda.
Bethesda is no doubt starting on Fallout 4 now or maybe anothe...
