That's not true. That's like saying an athlete can't come back from a drug addiction, to play again. Because they weren't #1 athlete in their sport. You can make come back no matter what position you're in.
Has anyone else beat the game co-op just to not have the achievement unlock? I played on xbox and it says I still hadn't completed 12 or so missions? Im done with this crap. The gears 5 a achievement did the same

I disagree. Technology has shown us this already. You're saying "If your user base feels no need to move to the next generation". There is incentive though. Sure you can play the games across gens. PC gamers do this all the time and still upgrade their computers. Cell phone users can still make calls on old phones, yet they buy new ones all the time. The incentive is better looking games with better immersion. This is only better for the consumer.
I laugh at all the people who say "life is too short". Maybe your life is... My old ass will be playing video games till I die at 97.
