The entitlement and blind desire for a transitional console from Nintendo is a bit out of hand. Do they take risks? Yes. Do they break boundaries? Yes. Have they missed a beat or two? Yes.
Bottom line is, no one takes more risks than Nintendo when it comes to developing hardware. Hell, even their software is starting to broaden and dabble in different styles or settings.
