All I want from bf is a modern shooter. Bf1 is fun, but has no lasting appeal. Don't care for WW settings either.

Whenever I'm on hardcore large conquest that map never comes up. I can think of many other preferred maps.
DC is no sim racer, but the thrill and engaging experience s like no other. Incredible game, too bad the entitled spoiled players today didn't buy it sooner.
It looks great, but I'm sure after playing GTS it will look grainy and not as clear, but still looks great regardless.
Need to start DS2. I beat DS1 on hard using only the original weapon about a year ago after getting chapter trophies for it in 2009, 2010 and 2013. Probably the longest it ever took me to beat a game but that's what happens when you play only a few games all the time I suppose.
I'll buy when I can get the wheel separately from the pedals. I don't need two of the same set of pedals and what would be 3 sets of pedals total.
fyi I just went from astro a50's(full 7.1) to steelseries arctis 7(stereo on ps4, 7.1 on pc) and I am enjoying the arctis 7's a lot more. Directional sounds are easier to distinguish and the sounds are so much clearer.
I used to be all about surround, but I'm thinking it's a tad overrated now.
you can always try ps now as well, it has a lot of ps3 games eliminating the need to have a ps3 since you never had one.

Xbox logic makes no sense. Why buy mid-gen upgrades when you're better off buying a PC?
Xbox has inferior support and games, yet when they've spent $1000 after taxes they could easily have a better pc instead.

May I suggest you buy a ps3 slim as well and catch up on some PS1, ps2 HD, and several ps3 games?
You can even use a dualshock 4 on the PS3, but with no rumble, if you'd like.

I'll definitely be doing this. I just bought a wheel for the beta and was getting comfortable with it but getting hit and spinning off track was never fun

Like I said, publishers want certain things to be in the game. Only way it's possible is if the dev team agrees to implement. There is no defending the devs. If they are opposed they will find work elsewhere.
Then people would cry that new games don't look like 16 bit games and then the 8 bit crowd would take a knee for being excluded and next thing you know they're in the news rallying ignorant watchers to join their 8 bit inclusion movement. Then Trump says something right, but their hate for Trump overrides any logical response and we are now going in circles with no end or resolution set.
The point isn't about in game similarities...
