having played every console, the dualshock 3 is much more quick and responsive with r1 than xbox's RT.
reaction time is clearly in ps3's favor and with a trigger it's going to be slower.
compromises are to be expected
having a game engine primed for each specific console would help, but that's too much time/money wasted for the same return.
I doubt this game is any worse than previous iterations, so no way does it make it a bad game
And I definitely don't want to see 2k return to football. Sure they had nice presenations, but the graphics and art style were way too goofy to take seriously.

bigger vehicles should have long lasting tanks because their tanks are huge
sportier cars should have smaller tanks, have to refuel more often
I don't mean drive a few blocks and refuel, but have a set trip mileage for each vehicle and make all vehicles have random amounts of fuel, so every car has a random amount of fuel.
definitely would add to pursuits/chases/missions, even force the refuel on enemies.
