People are just comparing the pre order numbers around this time from black ops 3 and the new CoD - Infinite Warfare. Hence all these articles are popping up.

Both Microsoft and Sony are announcing games way too early, this gen mainly. Last gen had that surprise factor when new games/new franchise games were announced then were released later that year.
This gen, they are announcing games when they are nowhere close to release date, hence you see alot of delays this gen.
Developers have the right to delay their games, as they are developing it for them (and the fans of course).
Yeah probably would have that option. Rocket League apparently has that option, I can't say for sure, but I remember reading that the developer said you could change to console only MM or cross-plat MM.
So I wouldn't be surprised if future games had it.

So i assume, there might a 'check' thingy to see if you have infinite warfare, or you have to launch CoD 4 within the infinite warfare menu. - but note ...
Will still sell a lot, but majority of the numbers will probably most likely come from the CoD 4 bundle - and people will only play CoD 4 multiplayer.
Considering that the game is going to be a digital download code i don't see why they can't just release it by itself.

I like both, but if i had to choose Dark souls 3.
But would activision really split the fanbase for the new CoD game to the MW:R multiplayer - assuming if it will have the multiplayer support.
It was ok the first time you played, but until you have gotten everything you wanted, do the exact thing everyday and cheaters gets pretty boring fast, pretty much (apart from the cheaters part) happened to destiny for me as well.
Haven't touched the game a week before Incursions released.
Kinda glad i got it for free tho :P
