geohot didnt take a dump on his ps3- he broke the security and distributed the codes to crack the security of a system, that when he bought and subsequently used, he agreed to Sony's terms and conditions which prohibit his actions in accordance with the software agreement.

Even on computers, where they are way more powerful than consoles, I don't see any new games that are some big leap from what PS3 is doing right now. If MS releases new hardware anytime soon then the 360 is basically finished.... PS3 has tech that will remain relevant for years too come.

Didn't you just answer your own question? The problem with going after casuals is that they leave the core players with very few choices for quality games. 360 is spending all their money on marketing for Kinect, now they have a crapload of resources going into make some Kinect software. Meanwhile they have 2 or 3 quality exclusives and are relying on multiplats for software.
