I can't get over the fact how completely idiotic it sounds to include a "U" after these games' names.
It's like all credibility flew right out the window the second we heard the name of any said game with a letter "U" after it's name. That's my own personal first impression of this situation.
Well since Nintendo is fighting against current gen consoles with the performance of Wii U I don't see how there even CAN be a competition with them. PS4 is surely to be leaps and bounds better than PS3 according to Sony's track record with consoles so this time it's even more true that "next gen doesn't start until we say so".

Anyway what is it with the U after many game's names? I find it ridiculous to say the least. Will every game's name end up with a U now? Super Mario Bros 2 U? Metroid U? Jesus how stupid can it get?

It's quite obvious that the taste in games changes while you mature.
I've become an adult and Nintendo has gone backwards to entertaining the 6-12 yo kids with Wii. Hell the original Super Mario Bros is more hardcore than most of Wii's library today.

I just played Mario Cart Wii with my kids yesterday and the game is pure crap and fun ONLY with your own ~10 yo kids. Same with Sports resort. The games are so unbelievably dumbed down for kids to play they are down right unenjoyable for an adult GAMER.

X360 was more powerfull than PS3 back then according to x360 fans and the media. They used multiplat games to prove it and called CELL a pos.
