It does look very good...great production values BUT...I've only seen a handful of screens and clips...still...The whole " Green screen " effect that UC is popularizing is in full effect in this game with massive backdrops that run in the back ground...pre-rendered of course, just like UC....The particle effects look solid as well...
As for detailed animations in game???...well...Gears is untouchable this gen...Smooth, crisp AI, blood splatter and fleshy bits ...

The price of consoles are not the problem anymore. The price of games are. The industry is scratching there head wondering why games are not selling as well...simple...they cost too much...where I live, it costs $80 for a game....by comparison, the 360 arcade bundle regularly is on sale for $99-129...If they expect a consumer to spend, for me as example, $960-$1,920 a year on gaming which is 1 to 2 new games a month for me which I easily do...it's too much...

Somethings not right...First, this game was heavily pushed by M$. They even made a little prequel series for the game. Not having any co-op/multiplayer is a no no in this day and age....Rockstar didn't help by moving the sale of there much hyped game RDR, from April to the same day as AW...That crushed alot of sales right there. M$ could not of been happy about that.
The biggest problem facing 360 right now is piracy...many people on many forums where playing AW BEFORE ...
Not a huge fan of cut-scenes...for the most part, they take the player out of the game, if done well and are relatively short, they enhance the whole experience...RE4 had the best balance. Short,and to the point. Some parts where moved along with RTE's that took the place of cut scenes while letting the player know the stories plot...some games like UC2 had far to many cut scenes. Many gamers own both consoles. still, the 40 million 360 gamers is a big target for Insomniac...Since the top selling games for 360 are shooters, ( Halo-COD-Gears ) I think that would mean that Insomniacs game will be a shooter also...I think they will be very successful.
