Well, there are still people that prefer the 360 over PS3. Just like me. Because of games like Gears or Halo for example. And I like the Controler of the 360 more. But I've also played most on PS3 @ friends console. Because I don't own a PS3 does not mean I'm not a true Gamer. Same can be said when Gears 3 arrives, it will be one of the best games in the past years. And then you can say go buy a 360 or you're not a true gamer.

There is some kind of truth in your comment. Kinect is really a step forward. While Move is just a different kind of controller. But I like the way I can control games right now. Let's see what the future bring along with Kinect.
WII was never about graphics! It all comes to controls on WII. But Sony and Microsoft moved along with MOVE and Kinect and nearly destroyed WII in my opinion. Real Gaming is on 360 and PS3. WII is just to have fun, but I think you can never get as much intense into a game as on PS3/360/PC.

Doom is amazing. And we still need a real Next-Gen Doom Game. Doom 3 was great ... but released last Gen. According to your statement CoD, BF, AC and a lot of other Games would suck too.

A mix of both would be cool. Full motion controls and a move-sharpshooter.
It doesn't matter if IW has lost some staff. There are still 2 DEVS making CoD-Games. So there is much more time between the games. And talking about Gameplay, Engine etc. It is COD and not something else. And there ARE improvements, also visually! Sometimes I really wonder if most people play on SD-TV's or on old HDTV's which can really badly influence how a game looks.
