It is absolutely correct, even turning down the LED light does not extending play times past the 8 hours I mentioned.

Wii U Pro - 80 Hours
Switch Pro - 40 Hours
Xbox One - 30 (rechargeable) 15 - 20 hours (alkaline give or take)
PS4 controller - 4-8 hours
Sony needs to make some real changes because in comparison they're controller battery life is terrible and yes I know the Wii U tablet controller was worse.
I also understand that discharging is a result of variables like rumble and such but even so vastly better than ...
I totally buy that it was a coincidence these two titles were announced right after the controversy, it's like they knew they could get away with what they did. Hmm...

I have to agree, I know it would suck to wait but Sony should just make this a PS5 launch title and release it same day on PS4 like Nintendo did with Breath of the Wild and Twilight Princess. It would make for an amazing holiday release and give people the choice to play on the better hardware without the chance of spoilers.
I myself will wait to play it on PS5 for the better experience even though I'm super excited and want to play it on release day.

I disagree and while I love the Dreamcast the GameCube was the last true gaming machine because it released afterwards.
Makes sense, Nintendo kind of “blew their load”’ for SNES launch. Need to take some time and let people play the large amount of awesome games before releasing more.

Rage 2 was one of the few games this year I put a lot of hours into and unlocked everything including all Achievements.
