I really don't understand how people can say that sony won the whole gta 4 thing.
the 360 sold more copies. maybe not in proportion to it's fanbase, BUT it's a much more casual console, meaning there's like 5 year olds playing it.

I think that microsoft are trying to appeal to a more casual market, that's why they are releasing this.
Not on 360, they are improving it for the 360, with exclusive stuff.
I haven't ordered from play since they were late with GTA..

I sorta agree. The people who buy wii's are casual, i'd imagine most don't even bother to hook it up to the internet.

I always the liked "The Getaway" too. It sorta felt local, and half the fun was being able to go around and find places i knew. (I live in the UK btw..)Unlike GTA it actually was London, not a recreation of it.
I was gonna buy a PS3 for The Getaway, and Tekken. I don't think i'll bother i don't much fancy any other of the games tbh..

Oh, and btw, i heard the reason that the 360 version doesn't have the 3rd person view could be because two different companies handled the ports.

Seriously though, I don't know anyone, PS3 or 360 who had a problem with GTA4. You aren't missing much if you have had a problem though.. The game was seriously over-hyped.
I swear you can just go to download history and download again, that's what i had to do when I got my 360 back because of rrod. It should work the same way?

The reason that the PS2 did so well was because it had family style games and was cheap. The wii has filled that criteria in this gen.
Not every single bad review was written by one person though.. Personally, I have no interest in Haze, and the fact that ubisoft are saying this shows that they are desperate..
