It is good , I believe the level cap upon release is 30. The only reason I'm not getting it right away is I know I will get bored till they come out with an expansion. Did not take long to get to 20.

Put LBP 2 in the hands of the people and they will turn that 8.5 into something higher with plenty of user generated content. I mean for me 90% of the fun in LBP was creating your own and playing others content...

I find it easy to hate this one and Hard to Love. The battle system is like driving a car...on rails....the summons are not epic , one of em actually transforms into a car, story meh.. It is a lot of eye candy but shallow.

It is IMO, atmosphere, online co op, pvp, more challenging, the encounters , level design...it really is.
It's not really a deep story though, neither where great in story, DS is more of a your based in a nexus and venture into dungeon instances while Oblivion had more of an open world then venture into Oblivion etc. Overall though it is. It is something that is open to debate though.

Wait a min , Demons Souls was the spiritual successor to Kings field which was released long before oblivion.
It's not like it was just a clone or something... Anyway 2 sweet rpg's are better then 1. They both do certain things well. No RPG does it all best.
