The best online mp experience on a console ive had was on warhawk and its on free psn. Cod4 was second its on psn free as well.
I pay for xbox live as well and.... Exactly ...why do i pay. Im rarely on xbl anyway because im on pc or ps3 more often.

I think Halo raised the bar in some areas of FPS MP (ranking etc.) on consoles. Then CoD4 came along and 1up Halo 3(ranking,perks). (thanks to the riddance of the world war II theme).
It also made alot of studios go out and develop halo killers so it really while not being the greatest fps its success(sustaining xbox console and ensuring a 360) did alot for the genre especially on consoles. Now the market is saturated with fps' more so.
The wii is like GC 1.5 and has only sold so well thus far due to a low price point.
It can't compete graphically with 360 or PS3 so I personally would not compare it in sales to 360 or ps3 but to xbox and ps2 or just leave it in its own league which it pretty much is in its own league since its devouted to motion sensing.
PSP is selling better nowdays Sony is breaking into the portable market quite well now. 4 days till FF7 Crisis Core the best portable game to ever be created IMO :D
Just buy a ps3 then you wont have to wait.
Sure bragging is fun but its all about running those games that are so demanding smoothly.
I built my rig because I was an MMO Junkie and wanted to play VGSoH and my current pc was running the beta at 2-4 fps. So I had to build it bigger , faster , stronger. :D Crysis was a reason I built as well. Crysis code is in need of some work with patches it should run smoother on max settings. VGSoH is also in need of patches in a major way.

I dont know about now but last time I tried psu wasnt ps3 browser compatable in that respect.
My rig also runs it on max settings and my screen is 50" Used to have 2 8800 GTS in sli. Now I use just 1 and still I run Crysis on max settings with very little issues.
Sony still dominates the market. Nothing has touched PS2's success yet and its still selling well. PS3 is taking off as is the psp lately. So while people can spout and spin #'s.
The fact still remains Sony still has the largest install base when comparing Wii+GC and Xbox+Xbox 360 to PS2+PS3 which still equates to market dominance.
They where so far ahead last generation they had the bawls to place all the goods in ps3 and launch it at such a high price.

Its actually designed to play games with advanced programming. The Ultimate Games of the future. many devs skills are obsolete and have been sent back to school heh. :D
Back when I bought a ps1 I knew I would want a ps2, ps3, ps4 etc. They are just getting better at delivering what they promise. (though it still takes them awhile to get it done) in the next system.

Its amazing how easy it is to find mods, skins for the ps3 UT3. I only found a few skins for PC UT3 so far. Spawn was there for pc but no MC or Crysis or Marcus :(
