If they dropped the price to where they where losing money. And now they think Nintendo will turn around. Maybe they want to sell less at the lower price? Or maybe they are waiting for Nintendo to lower the price so they can get credits from the price difference. I'm not saying these two scenarios are the case, just options. Because they didn't just stop, instead they suspended selling.
@GribbleGrunger the Logic is not good or faultless, there is a MAJOR fault. The wii-u is cheaper by $100 while being less powerful. THe PS4 is cheaper than the xbox one by $100 WHILE BEING MORE instead of being LESS POWERFULL.
In other words:
The quality in the equation is switched. The one that is less powerful between the PS4 and Xboxone is more expensive.
Wow reading the title I was thinking now Microsoft is at least competing. But after reading the details I find out I'm not getting a deal? Just a full priced card with a day one decal on it? So basically Microsoft decided that to get more sales they have to launch first. Because given a choice people will chose ps4. And they are hoping people will not be able to get a ps4, and therefor be forced to get a xbox1 or wait. I hope people don't sell themselves out to 360. These are valid points about games that where 360 games, last time I checked this happened also with 360 it got a lot of launch games that where originally xbox(real one) games.

Great idea Muffuns1223. As for competition, last time I checked Nintendo won the current generation. Even if they don't sell another console! IF Microsoft left the business (which is wishful thinking) we would have these companies jump in that are looking at it anyway. Google, apple, Samsung, Nokia! Just to name a few. Exactly, we NEED Legend of dragoon 2. I hated the technical problems (frame rate loading) it was a chore waiting. I think if it did not have those problems there would have been no MIXED reviews of it. All would have been awesomeness. I would by two or even a remake with some summons thrown in!

That means you prefer action rpg's over turn based. I could not force myself to continue playing last remnant where as i was wanting lost odsyssey to continue after beating it!
Lost Odyssey is the way to go, square is finishing up the last presidents attempt of action rpg for the west switch. As soon as square becomes square again they will have big increases in sales. i'd buy a Lost Odyssey remake.
Consoles are not out yet. Plus can't they just find his servers and physically power them down? I mean he is confined.
