How many people do you think will buy a console for Only two games that may or may not turn out to be GOOD JRPG's? (okay a junkie like me BUT) if your fighting a uphill battle you can't just say HEY we have two games you might like coming in the next few years(at that time), come buy our system.

The gameplay part is a rumor though, and looks like adds for FFVII (yes that is how they made ad's look back in PS1, PS2 days). They made it look like action instead of turn based. But the episode part is NOT rumor. This could be a problem.

It doesn't have to be a new idea. Have you tried playing NINTENDO's library of JRPG's on your TV? (that's where they all went to not consoles, they didn't disappear, only square disappeared on jrpg's).

Logically looking at it though 3ds sold 59 million systems and ds sold over 150 million systems so that is over 200 million systems. Ps4 has sold 40 million and by most accounts xbox has sol 19-20 million. If the Nintendo NX is a replacement for only the hand helds like your assuming it is then by numbers Nintendo will have more fans to sell to. But what if it is both handheld and console, like it is hinted at? That is more to sell to, not less.

If I can play DS and 3DS games on my TV (read real traditional JRPG's), I'd buy two of them(bedroom and living room) Non for my office I will get NOTHING done for a few years. I'd also buy it today! Heck I'd jump up right NOW and go buy it, plus more DS and 3DS games and the top non JRPG games coming out.
