ugh, right when I go back to school.
I would be willing to bet it had at least a little to do with the capture technology used. Still entirely possible the blur is just to make up for a really low resolution possibly.
Finally, I couldn't believe they were sticking with it for so long. I would have even been willing to try the boomerang controllers over the awful dualshock.
Having tons of exclusives is really cool and all but there is no way I would buy all of them. I feel like people who obsess over them never get a multiplat because of all the money they have to dish out to get their half rate exclusives.
The hack and slash genre has left gameplay behind almost completely at this point in place of presentation (God of War, Dante's Inferno). The only franchise that prevents me from dismissing it as a true gaming genre is Devil May Cry

They actually have a lot of newsworthy and interesting topics. It's just that once you start reading, you realize that the articles are poorly written, don't explain themselves, and aren't trustworthy at all.
This was the first Humble Bundle I bought, and I went 75-25% THQ, off the top, respectively.
This is not a vs. video, it is simply so you can see the difference between the three platforms. This video also included the medium PC, which a lot of people might want to see.
It looks like the PS3 version suffered from some serious frame rate and screen tearing issues. Also it looked all fuzzy, what I would assume is either how the game is trying to make up for the frame rate or lower resolution.
it also has to do with the fact that mountains can be generated rather easily without having to store them in as objects in the game. I'm sure similar tricks will be done in GTA though
Don't forget about:
The Geometry wars games
Murder Miners
Happy Wars
Hybrid
The Doritos games (lol)
Breach
Alan Wake's American Nightmare
I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES!!!1
I just want to see it on PC and I'm not even a PC gamer. I just think it extends the life of the game so much. I can't go back and play GTAIV on the consoles any more because it is just so dated, but the PC version can look a lot better and can be modded.
The Battlefront series was truly great, I feel like a current gen adaptation would have fixed a lot of the AI and balance issues and made it a very competitive and unique game in a rather repetitive space. The timesplitters series, however, is mostly all about nostalgia. I'm glad it will live on in it's glory, I don't think a fourth installment would add anything to the series.
"There is no lead platform, they are developing the game at the same time for both PS3 and XBOX360"
http://www.examiner.com/art...
There is no lead platform, deal with it. The people disliking aren't fanboys, they just know the truth
They only care to get the game fully working on the 360, it has direct competition in Halo 4. People wouldn't hesitate to take a faulty game back when other options are present. They know the name alone will carry sales on the PS3 with no real competition this year. If they pulled this last year, BF3 may have had more of an edge on the PS3

GTA doesn't have a monopoly over anything, sandbox wise many people would agree games like Just Cause and Saints Row have a better sandbox than GTA now. GTA is now known for it's superior story telling and character development.
Rockstart is notorious for their bullshots, and these are some of them.
I had an exam 7-9pm the Monday before Halo 4 came out and an exam 9:30-11am the Tuesday it came out and I still went to the midnight release. You have no reason to be upset that an article is going to take 15 minutes out of your each of your days next week, if it is really that big of a deal to you just don't read the articles, it is as if it came out any other time.
Your arguments for combat make no sense, the combat still has all the depth of the old games with a much more intelligently crafted control scheme so that you do not have to practice for a month to trick the game into doing what you want.

The static attempt at a gothic or horror setting for 3 and 4 felt completely out of place when you start hacking and slashing at enemies. Limbo in dmc provided a constant sense of chaos that allowed the fighting to make sense.
