to give the level the whole mirrors edge feel. kinda weird when mirrors edge is based on free running and sack boy cant climb boxes but still this game looks awesome. really jealous and i gotta wait 2 more months for my ps3. graphics look really good for a game thats based on user generation content too

i know about the system blades with the guide button which is awesome but the avatars....if theyre supposed to a "new" version of the gamercard then that means gamerpics i paid for are useless and i want my mspoints back. if i can still use my gamerpics then fine then im happy, ill rush through an avatar then ill just replace it with my flat 2d image.
the thing i like about the new update is that it bring u a mini version of the original dashboard with the touch of the guide button which i think is awesome. it would be cool if i can browse the marketplace while playing a game, get a demo, arcade game, or DLC, then continue playing my game.
someone told me it was optional and i was relieved but then this....f**k

i see open tray on the 3rd screen shot. i hope they fixed this and i can actually open the tray with a game already inside and im on the dashboard. its awesome how we have the old dashboard with a touch of a button.
that fighting game for the wii where they remade the characters from stymphony looked butt-ugly. maria looked like a 12yo, richter looks gay, drac and alucard looks like females.

never played the first shellshock because i didnt really hear anything positive about it but this one has me interested. this might be one of those games that doesnt get hyped or isnt talked about alot but i buy it anyway. oh and the awesome freebird track helps too.

those other people dont have 50 sq km of open world that have day/night cycles and dynamic weather effects and foliage that gets affected by it, all seamless with no loading and a full blown map editor....or do they?
well if u look at his games before gears, they were pretty much all pc games.
isnt bioshock running on UE3? it started out using the modded UE2.5 but then moved on to UE3

for some its bragging rights so they go and work for whatever it is the achievement asks for
for some people [like me] its a reason to replay the game and sometimes do certain things i wouldnt normally do. some achievements make u do creative things and opens up new doors for things to do in the game.
either way it gives games replayablilty and/or gives the player a reason to play the game and do certain things and *usually* in the high profile games, these achie...
halo 3 brought a variation of this, UT3 brought in mods and new maps, far cry 2 expanded on what halo 3 did, and littlebigplanet looks to bring it in 2d form. these are games that are gonna be played for a long time because the editors bring in tons of replay value and gives a good reason to buy the game.
cant wait for FC2 and LBP! i can see it now, classic mario maps remade in lbp and maps from other fps's in fc2
