His reason for playing ZOE is the same reason as mine. MGS2 demo that I played for hours. Then I realized that my $50 demo came with a free game and it ended up being awesome xD. Made me get ZOE2 in a heartbeat once that came out and I didn't need a demo to convince me that time.
I was planning on getting both but I was waiting for enslaved reviews and it doesn't seem to be doing too bad. If there are a few more enslaved reviews and they turn out great then I'll get both for sure.
Gold guns in gears was only in gears 2 which came out in 2008. Cod4 had gold guns before gears since it came out in 2007. Or if you really wanna get technical with it Goldeneye 007 for the N64 had man with the golden gun and that came out in 1997
This isn't using MT Framework. If you read this article it states that this game is made by a US team and Capcom hasn't given anyone outside of their japanese studios rights to use the engine until recently. So blue castle had to create an engine from scratch for this game

Agreed. This is my favorite game of all time. So far my best 100% speedrun is 1hr 42min but thats with mockballs, shortcuts and a murder beam on Ridley. Haven't tried to finish the game getting everything normally since I was little. Might have to try that again. I have it on my psp so I can always have it on the go but I would gladly pay for it if it came out on a DS or something.

PC version has gamepad support though.
I think most if not all PC games being released now have gamepad support. Even an MMO like vindictus has gamepad support.
It's cool that devs are now giving PC gamers an option to choose a control style they prefer. And even if you have a game from back then that has no gamepad support just use Xpadder. It lets you map whatever keys you want onto a gamepad (eg. WASD movement to dpad/analog stick etc.)

Just preordered my copies of Enslaved and Castlevania a few minutes ago. If I had a ps3 I would probably be dead broke because I just recently bought Halo Reach and Dead Rising for PC and planning on getting Arcania because I was impressed with the demo and I haven't bought an RPG game since the ps2 days.
