I'm guessing the way it downloads is similar to torrents in that it downloads info from different areas and not a beginning to end kind of thing. Like for example a 10 episode tv show or something, a torrent would download ep5 first then ep2 then ep7, etc. So maybe it needs to download the main mechanics first like AI, physics, textures and whatnot and then it starts to download the maps and the rest after it hits 50%
I agree that it's their property and they have the rights to claim their property but a Let's play is nothing like a "let's watch." Any movie/tv show is ALWAYS going to be the same for anyone who views it but a game is never going to look the same way twice. Take for example an open world game like GTA, the LP you're watching isn't going to play out the exact same way as it would from a different LP someone else did but the movie/tv show would remain the same
I'm expecting some sort of halo 5 teaser if they have one and a full reveal at e3
The future? You mean like BF 2142?
It's on the latest issue of GameInformer
http://www.gameinformer.com...
I'll prolly skip this, it's not made by rocksteady and the creative director for this game worked on The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction and Prototype which are nowhere near as good as the first two Arkham games
@wishingW3L
I have these games on PC all running at 60fps max settings 1080p so it's definitely NOT the engine. There are more UE3 games but these are the ones with a console release as well
Unreal Tournament 3
Rainbor 6 Vegas 1/2
Bioshock Infinite
Spec Ops: The Line
Bulletstorm
Dishonored
Mass Effect 1/2/3
Borderlands 1/2
DmC: Devil May Cry
Brother's in Arms Hell's Highway <...
Wasn't that coma and "how long it's been" thing covered already. Kojima is using the same japanese voice actor but changing the US one?
Well there was a bf3 alpha (I was in it) and then a beta for all platforms a few months before the game's release so I wouldn't dismiss this right away.
It'll probably come to steam eventually the same way Crysis 2 returned to steam with the "maximum edition"
Wasn't he killed in Zanzibar land before he became the ninja in mgs1?
Yeah I'll admit the initial price is going to cost more, I spent about $1200-$1300 on it but let's look at it at a console-ish perspective. You buy a console to last you what a good 5-7 years? I bought it at that price 3 1/2 years ago and the only time I see myself upgrade it is when the new maxwell nvidia cards roll out which is supposed to be 2-3 timess better than this year's offering of cards. If the ps4 indeed does have a 7970 equivalent, a card from last year, next year the ...
I built my pc 3 1/2 years ago and still able to max out anything I throw at it. And which ps4 games are you talking about because I haven't seen a single one yet
One of these games should've made it on the list :(
Powerstone 1&2
House of the Dead 2
Marvel vs Capcom 2
I think you read that wrong. He meant Retro Studios hiring a Naughty Dog dev
Yeah kinda reminds me of Shinobi on ps2. The gameplay was awesome and I felt like a badass ninja but the environments were lacking
It definitely looks better than the first. Hopefully they can manage to get it running at 60fps this time around
Front touchpad could do the same. Especially if they have onscreen icons that indicate certain actions on the front touchpad
But what about the breakfast and dinner prices? $299 is still pretty expensive for some afternoon food
Gex would be cool but I'd rather see them doing something with the Legacy of Kain franchise
Even IF this year's E3 ends up being about the games, the real question is how long until they lose focus again. The year the 360 launched (and a year or two after that) they we're more focused on games more than anything but ever since 08/09 they completely forgot about the games and focused on trying to make it an all around entertainment device instead
