Idk why we're jumping to conclusions of thinking that it has to be weapon upgrades, when they probably just added the scopes as presets. I actually remember one of the developers being interviewed by HHG, and he asked if they were going to include weapon upgrades. I don't remember if the guy denied it, but he did talk about what it would mean to include weapon upgrades, and it sounded very unlikely of the possibility that they did include that capability in it.

Eh...I can't whole heartedly agree. To be honest, I know more people that are into sports that don't currently play than the converse. And a handful of them have never played the sport the like either. I do like fantasy football though, but before I got into it...I remember I used to make fun of people who were pretending they were playing football...atleast that's how I looked at it at the time.
But as far as what's happening with fantasy football and video g...
BFBC is probably your type. It does pretty good with distance and movement going into effect when shooting is concerned. And to be honest, other FPS' tend to be easier to score headshots than MAG at least for me. I liked MAG, but I agree with you especially with the rifles not having much difference in feel. That was the only thing I was disappointed with Zipper about. I figured they would have done much better with gun differentiation than what they showed with MAG. Other than that, ...
idk why, but the egg one made me laugh. Picturing fanboys throwing eggs at the *opposing* factions fans lining up at midnight launches. I would seriously, pay some cash just to see that.
I won't embrace console wars until I see fanboys publicly fight one another. It'll at least give me something to laugh at.
If I recall correctly...from what I read, when you play through the campaign mode, you'll play as 3 different people. When each person views one level that one of the other 2 or both had played at previously, the amount of destruction will vary. Basically speaking, you can play that same level for the first time when it's just completely decimated, but then later down the road, you can play as one of the other 2 when all of that destruction occurred previously.

That article didn't bring much insight. I could see it working in the Tekken world, but I am more apprehensive about it than I am Street Fighter x Tekken since more things need to be taken into consideration. I do see a lot of specials like Ken and Chun Li's combo specials being morphed into a somewhat 10 hit combo.
Specials like Ryu's hadoken blast can be turned into an unblockable wave. Unblockable's are rarely used but they can still change the tide of a...
Red Dead Redemption isn't a new IP. And to be honest, the reviews it got were too good for people to just completely forget about if Demon's Souls was any indication last year. That was a new IP and there were quite a few sites that still raved over it.
I guess I'm the only one that couldn't read that whole article...I didn't know what the hell was going on. Only that it's faster? and that it makes boxes smaller?
well...Warhawk has sold over 500k to help you out with another point. And Socom Confrontation has sold over a mil too...
aw man...thanks for reminding about that level. that was actually pretty fun and crazy. that whole atmosphere just felt dead and hopeless. I can't believe I forgot about it...
In that case the game still didn't flop. It has a pretty good following, and many people are still logging in countless hours. You compare Vanquish to Socom but that doesn't make sense especially considering they're not the same style of tps. How can you promote Zipper to do something else when you're not even among their fanbase?
I'm not ragging on you for not liking the style of the game but to voice your opinion from the outside to those congregating...
If this were to happen, I'd see an inverse domino effect happen. It would probably effect the developers more so than it would the industry as a whole. There will be developers that will promote their games by iterating that it's FREE to play. Kinda similar to PSN to XBL. But in this case, it'll be a bigger selling point for franchises than a console. Since there are more developers/publishers than consoles, and if more firms than just Activision and EA decide to go this route...
Hell, I was thinkin the same thing. The design of it is pimp. I just don't like the idea of feeling like a walking ad ha.
eh... regardless...I don't really like the word myself, but with all the other shit that slides by I can understand your beef personally. But I really just can't get all up in arms about it
I like how the dude in the background is giving her a look like "Wtf is up with this bitch?"
Japanese culture is filled with nothing but perverts.....
Which is why they're awesome
I really don't think infamous should be in there... It's not hard, but it's certainly not one of the easiest. Especially when there's games like Tekken 6 and Uncharted. Those 2 are without a doubt easier than that one.
But that is so mean.... I hated that trophy.... I never felt so relieved when I was able to beat it. I remember when I first saw the credentials to it, I didn't think it would be too hard to beat it, then I actually tried it and saw how many seconds off I was of the desired time and thought something was amiss. Then I looked it up and thought, "Heh...fuck that..." I can't remember how long it took me exactly to get it, but it was much longer than I would have liked...
How were you able to reach 17th in a time trial and not get the platinum in that game? lol you obviously must be pretty good at it.
I wonder though, if sony will ever release a chart/ladder that shows who has the most platinum trophies, and how many people have platinums in each game. That shouldn't be too hard to do I think.
I'm not so sure about the argument with XIII... Truthfully, there were some people just jumping on the bandwagon making the complaints seem bigger than what they really were, but...I have a hard time truthfully defending that game. It was mediocre in most aspects.
