Sony never announced any mascot for their PS brand, cause everyone can choose whatever mascot they like from Sony games. Example; If you like Gran Turismo a lot, than you can choose GT as PS mascot. It's the same case for LBP (sackboy), UC (Drake), GoW (Kratos), ICO/SotC, Sly Cooper, Ratchet, and whatever 1st party games that Sony made.

sony still had 4-5 months left before they released vita on the market. so like you said "who knows in the future". but i'm the same with you. i'll take beautifull oled screen than glassless 3D too.
Even sony not announced vita can play glassless 3D, it's just a matter of time when sony released some firmware update like PS3 and whola! vita also had glassless 3D.
