You should try Resonance of Fate. It really underapreciated by the majority of gamer, when it had better gameplay than FF XIII.
Yeah, i felt the same. Some new gen gamers who never play this game will search & play it because their friends told good things about it. But it's just too sad, because Tri-ace will likely never made game like this anymore T_T

Why i felt dejavu about your post. Oh right, you said the same thing for Persona 4. Too bad your decision to dodge great games only because they don't include the japanese voices. And as a fans of japanese dub, surely i can say Troy Baker, Laura Bailey, and Michelle Ruff voices in Catherine are on par with Koichi Yamadera, Miyuki Sawashiro, and Kotono Mitsuishi.
Resonance of Fate also underappreciated. The gameplay is superb with high difficulty for JRPG fans who want's challenge. The music from Motoi Sakuraba also good. Even though the story is a bit standard. The only little thing i don't like is the title. Don't understand why they changed the title from End of Eternity to Resonance of Fate. Because End of Eternity is more precise with the story theme of humans lived on the very high tower called Basel, when earth is dead and the land ...
Yup, waiting GOTY fo sure. And with Arkham City DLC, Deathstroke must be not the only DLC they will milk.
Just watch when some reviewer will critic the slightest thing like how the grass in TloU are not like grass in the real world. And because of that, they will decrease the point by 2 or 3 so the TloU got 7/10. Or they just put "too much variety!" like gamespot and gave a mediocre score.

I understand your felling. But why should PS fans must mad if Versus gone multiplat? They even don't know for sure if Versus have the quality above FF XIII. And if Versus still PS3 exclusive but the quality isn't that different from XIII, than are PS fans still braging how good Versus is? I think that's really dumb, considering SE quality this day are far from the golden age of Squaresoft.
Haven't released anything good since the PS2 era is a overblow statement. SE DID released some good title since the PS2 era such as Crisis Core, The World Ends With You, FF Type-0, and Bravely Default (well, it's not made purely by SE). Too bad a lot of people choose not to play those games because it released for handhelds.
I don't think the majority of Square / RPG fans are really happy with how SE made their games lately, aside from their western dev of course.
And two games from SE japan that i think shine the most are FF Type-0 and Bravely Default. FF Type-0 only for japan and Bravely Default ironicly isn't purely made by SE. More irony is those two games are for handheld.

I think KoF: Another Day from Production I.G are one of the best anime adaptations of video game. Even though it's only 4 eps with total 32 minutes of runtime >.<
The other great anime adaptation fron video games are Persona 3 and 4 (movies or tv series), Devil May Cry, Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie (It's awesome, even they gave Chun-li a worthy fan service in bathroom XD), and the tv series SF II-V. Well, those are very memorable & have good quality...

Just look at Yakuza: Dead Souls. In japan, it sells are on par with the main series and higher from Kenzan (cmiiw). But in the west, Dead Souls are selling like crap.

I don't really care if Yakuza not exclusive anymore for Playstation platform. But if this WiiU version got a good sales, hopefully it will make as a catalyst for Sega to release HD collection & Yakuza 5 for PS3 (& WiiU) in the west ^^

Yeah, i don't know why nintendo can't do that, especially with old game from Snes. Also, i still waiting for Metroid Fusion & Zero Mission for 3DS eshop. It hard to find copies for both games in my country.
