Agreed. A lot of western reviewer only saw the graphic and slap some 6 or 7 to the game without even judge how good the story, music, and gameplay of Nier. I think Drakengard 3 will got the same treatment too :(
Also, Ressonance of Fate. Damn, tri-ace made some fresh and addictive combat system in Ressonance of Fate. And again, it got low scores than FF XIII just because it doesn't have pretty graphic like FF XIII :(
Yakuza 3 combat are dull & uninspiring? Wow dude, did we play the same game here? A lot of people, including me, spend dozens of hours in Yakuza just for the combat alone, especially at the underground coliseum. It so addictive to break the bones in Yakuza 3 compare to Yakuza 1 or 2.
Oh well, different people different taste. If you find Yakuza 3 combat dull / uninspiring, maybe Yakuza series isn't your game.
Nier, Ressonance of Fate, Siren: Blood Curse, Valkyria Chronicles. Those are some hidden gem and underrated (except for VC).

Really? Some people keep telling us that sony will go bankrupt when they released PS3 and that is seven years ago. I think this people need to fix their crystal ball or stop with their stupid prediction ^^
I really enjoyed Gravity Rush. But after GR2, i hope Keiichiro Toyama will touch Siren again. A new Siren for PS4/Vita will be a day 1 to me ^^

Really? I thought it only had some fans service, some comedy, and more into action / fight between the students or school. But that's good if they had large dose of serious plot. As long as not complex / confusing like Tenjou Tenge. I lost my mind when i read that manga, so i just enjoy the fighting & ecchi scenes.
Sound bugs and made PS3 reset? I never had it and this is the 1st time i ever heard this issues. Even though i experienced some glitch when i must pass the sniper before the Fall chapter. Besides that the game really solid.

Did you check the article? They've got Rain, Terraria, Soul Sacrifice, PSABR, and even Dust 514 on the top ten for some category. It's really varied, unlike western charts that only dominates by CoD, BF, Fifa, or Madden :P

Just like kingdom18 said. It more like Valkyria Chronicles, so it's a modified turn based RPG combine with some RTS. Personally, i love this kind of JRPG. It felt fresh and new, but in the same it still carry the awesomeness of classic JRPG.
It's to bad that some people doesn't give a chance to this kind of JRPG. Their just gave a quick glance and say 'meh' just because the game doesn't have shiny graphic :(

First, i don't know what your expectation / want with Yakuza 3 combat, because you said it dull & uninspiring. But for me Yakuza 3 combat had more fluid moves, combos, feature (chase battle and revelation), and the enemy A.I response also improve a lot than Yakuza 1 & 2. It became more and more like a Virtua Fighter combat, but still not as complex as VF.
