PS and Nintendo consoles already got otaku market with a lot of niche japanese games such as Neptunia, Akiba's Trip, Senran Kagura, Project Diva, Xblaze, Atelier, and even the popular Steins;Gate will get localize for Vita and PS3. I expect Psycho Pass will got port for PS and Nintendo consoles.
Yes Tetsuya Takahashi never wrote story for FF. But what he did with Xenogears are awesome. The main story a bit complex for mainstream gamers but he can created characters that i really care. Even when he left Square and created Xenosaga, the game still have better characters than FF XIII.
Yasumi Matsuno is the director, writer, and concept designer for FF XII. Until he got sick and hospitalized. Than SE replaced him with Hiroyuki Ito and Hiroshi Minagawa. Matsuno is Sakaguc...
Sadly we never see this kind of emotional scene again after FF XII. That's why personally i found FF XIII story really boring. I felt nothing when i watched the dead of Hope's mother, Sarah got crystallized, or Vanille & Fang relationship. Maybe Sazh & his son Dajh gave some emotion for me. But the rest are flat out boring. Hell, even the main protag motivation to safe her sister also felt emotionless.

Tales series did it first with making food and ingredients. In japan, Namdai even made a cafe that serve foods from Tales series. And now looks like FF followed it too.

Yes there's a big chance it will come to the west. NIS themself localized most of their games. So you can expect this title coming to the west at next year or early 2016.

I think it still last through 2015. PS3 still have Tales of Zestiria, Persona 5, Yakuza 5, Yakuza 0, MGS Phantom Pain, Dragon Quest Heroes, One Piece Warrior 3, new Jojo's Bizzare, RE Revelations 2, and more.
But i don't know about X360. Aside of multiplat like Phantom Pain, Revelations 2, RE HD, or maybe sport games, i don't see anything worth mentioning / buying.
