What would you consider it, fan fiction?
Microsoft talks big about digital distribution, but Sony are the ones walking the walk and they've got their sheeit in order.
Hedging their bets, blu-ray for physical media, PSN for DD.
Sounds like news to me.
"As stated earlier, this was not as much of a comparison between the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, as it was a comparison between the Blu-Ray and the DVD."
Well then you didn't do your f%$cking job.
Stop breaking the consoles down to their components. One has Blu-Ray one has DVD and the performance reflects that.
Nice to hear actual anecdotes to back up Sony's claims. Not like when there were mountains of 360s in stock rooms when Greenturd pulled the "shortage" claims...
You miss the point. Several multiplats in the past have run "just fine" on the PS3 but slightly better on the 360, with the PS3 version being marked down. The same should be true when the shoe is on the other foot.
I think a lot of people are confusing the Telegraph (huge newspaper) with Teletext (Complete sh*t in a box made of dried sh*t).
And for the guy mocking the .co.uk address, wtf? It's a UK paper so it has a UK website, kind of like how the people below have a UK site for their UK customers...
http://www.sony.co.uk/
Still a pretty weak review though.
Where do I get my hands on this "Santa's Puppy Rescue"?
Am I the only one who doesn't actually think that's a huge budget for a game like GOW3? Only needs to sell 730 odd thousand units and the whole project is back in the black. Grand Theft Auto IV at 100 million was a lot of money.
oh who f&%$ing cares, do it or don't but stop freaking talking about it!
seriously, wtf is wrong with these sites giving the same scores across platforms? One is clearly superior and should be marked as such, just like every multiplat that performed better on the 360, Bayonetta being a recent example. The PS3 version of that game got hammered hard in the gaming press, but now we have a comparably bad port on the 360 and it gets the same score? Tsk! Tsk I say!
grasping at straws much?
Not that I don't think its deserving, but this is surprising (and good!) news
There are still literally millions of dead 360's in a landfill somewhere, (maybe the same New Mexico landfill that houses all those unsold Atari 2600 ET cartridges?) but my PS3 (and everyone else's) just awoke from a little nap.
This has always confused me. A lot of videogames draw inspiration from films and become more movielike in the process. So then Hollywood comes and turns these games, inspired by films, into films? How lacking in imagination are those cats in Hollywood?
Nope, they just lost a sale.
They should totally make a game where the protagonist is Christopher Walken. The younger, creepier Walken circa Dead Zone or Brainstorm. I'd buy it. Carry on.
Strong words for a man of the cloth!
And that is pretty damn impressive if you ask me.
Anyone else find it amusing that Microsoft, the "Software company", has their machine hacked relatively early in its lifecycle whereas Sony, the "hardware company", built a more secure OS?
Bad enough I get turned away from the real life hostess clubs here in Japan just for being foreign (despite speaking Japanese) but now I can't even get into virtual hostess clubs?! MADNESS!!!
While I respect your opinion, that is just ridiculous. How can you objectively think that Mirror's Edge is better graphically than those two powerhouses? I can understand if you like the art style better, but technically its not even close.
