Consoles arent going anywhere son, stop dreaming.
MS made alot of money with the 360 in the last 3 years but they lost alot in the first years on the market.
Still what really matters is that right now is making money and isnt going away anytime soon.
Next Gen will lose money at first its normal, these things will be powerfull, technology is expensive and they cant sell Consoles for 1000$. But with time, games sales, Live etc... it will make money for them.
2013 is going to have a great year again with games like Dead Space 3 or GTA V.
But Microsoft knows this is the year 360 will be replaced, no need for bringing more games anymore since most hardcore fans will jump ship for 720 and the other players, sincerely they only care about Cod or GTA anyway.

MS is in a great position, alot of new studios built up from the ground, outstanding 3rd party support, tons of money to buy DLC/Exclusives and a huge huge huge brand with Xbox that is now everywhere, from Iphone, to Windows Phone 8 to Windows 8.
