Phil Harrison in his latest interview said they are "very pleased" with how the console is selling. Sounds like alot of these "sales numbers" sites are lying out right out of their ass.

I have a DVI LCD right now that makes my PS3 look just AMAZING.
However I want to get one of the new 70" LCD's that are coming out and will wait for the price to drop some.
for me it must have:
at least 3 HDMI 1.3 ports
support RGB full
give me at least a 10000:1 contrast ratio
and most important of all give me 1:1 pixel mapping.

to substandard games and hardware when I have a PS3 and a Warhawk BETA that didn't need any "final graphical touches" because it already looked great and played even better??
My son is the one who played the 360 more than anybody and once he got his hands on Warhawk he pretty much abandoned the 360. I played the Halo Beta 3 times and said "this is what they call next gen?"
trading both in wasn't a hard decision

I cancelled the pre-order and traded in my 360. This was the only game I was holding out for on the 360 and after seeing how utterly crappy the BETA looked I got rid of my 360 and the pre-order for the game. IMO Halo is done as a series, there are many games that clearly outdo anything this game has to offer now that it's just not exciting to play anymore.
this would be on I called LAME on this game from the get go.

bloodmask is quite the 360 clown around here, if he stuck to things he can defend like cheaper price, more games, a better online interface(for now), then he might sound halfway intelligent, but to keep harping on the 360 being a superior console to the PS3 when he HAS BEEN OWNED on this topic more times than I can count gets him the title of official N4G assclown.

maybe the other games you mentioned but gears does it with cut scenes, nice trick but not a true seamless game.
