Nope, it's in 2nd place. Don't count VGchartz. Why M$ didn't tell anyone on XO event that X360 is the most selling HD console of the generation? Because it will be shot in the head.

Nope. PS3 is not dead yet. Even in PS4 era, Sony will continue to support the PS3. When PS3 came out and until now, PS2 sold in ~ 50 mil. units in PS3 era. PS3 is not loser. PS3 had poor start, but is in front of X360 if you watch global sale.

Blu-ray is not next-gen Achilles heel. Look how many PS3 games use cheap tricks to bypass slow read speed of PS3's BR drive. Loading level or checkpoints in the background when cut-scene show up. 6X faster BR drive in PS4 shouldn't be a problem.
Yes, that's true. I remember about 3 years ago when X360 was about 2 million units ahead of PS3. And 3 years in a row PS3 outsell X360 every year between 750 000 - 1 000 000 units ( according to vgchartz ). So, i don't know why on this scale PS3 lead over X360 about 500 000 - 1 000 000 units.

GT 5.5? I don't think so. Improved graphics engine, totaly new phisics ( most important for gamers who play racing games ), create your own cups, GPS track editor....
