I remember when I first started to trust game reviewers back in the ps2 era. Now they're too many under the table deals, contradictions, and a lot of "in my opinions."
Fact is the color is blue, in my opinion it's purple.
with daily updates and don't go all arcadey. I call it the gran turismo of basketball.
these reviewers lied so the metacritic review can match uncharted2. The game tries to be a cinematic set piece like most ps3 exclusives but fail at it.
why it fail- The camera is too close to the action and most of the time you can only see from the waist up. the camera needs to come back a few notches. It's like watching a movie too close the screen and you can only see a portion of the cinema.
it's a 9.0 at best.
Look good and play good, is that too much to ask for?
Now if you want to be unique with your style of game, it needs to be, visually(not all the time photo-realistic), a sense of deep game-play, a immerse story that would make your fans demand for a trilogy, and last but not least the multiplayer.
too high my @ss
"why are you taking other peoples word when you have the ability to observed and analyze and guess the review score before the reviewers"
We're talking about friends and gaming here. In gaming your friends are your worst enemy, and a great ally. Not all the time you're going to agree with your friends. If my friends said, "hey immortal you should get the kinect, it's a whole new experience." I would respond with, "Bro, I don't want to ...
well that's good they like all those genre, but saying kinect is a whole new gaming experience seems a lil bit over exaggerated.
One more thing, if you a gamer who have multi consoles, and you're a "true gamer"-(that like saying your Jesus Christ)- why are you taking other peoples word when you have the ability to observed and analyze and guess the review score before the reviewers.
it seems like "true gamers" are gluttons, and to...
2, if you do have friends who like gaming they're not looking out for your best interest.
3, if you do have friends who play games casually, I would have to ask if you're a casual gamer.
MsA literally took split seconds ideas, and turn a race track into a morphing, transforming, constant action, escape run.
Its like Sony's 1st party developers are taking 3rd party developers idea's, and making their ideas look and play better on the ps3!-IMO
i started a new game
this new game will have to have scale for me to be interested because, I'm not playing in some static environment, no wind blowing, grease monkey characters, and some carbon copy of dynasty warriors. NO!
Ugh! how do you expect me to enjoy this? eww!
without the Vaseline glare or super lube characters....
I need you guys along with the other masses demanding for another atlus/software game.
how to make a petition?
I'm sorry but I don't know about you guys but I don't get the same "jaw dropping experience" from multiplat games. Even though multiplat games can be fun, but I can't get that feeling like I get with exclusive games like kz2, and etc.
I'm no fanboy, trust me look at the history. I'll play any game. But for a game to be my favorite, you'll need to bring your A gameplay and visuals.
demon's souls and 3d dot hero are addictive, demon's souls is just plain hard especially on new game+.
blasphemy
a 360 game sell above 4mill on their 1st week because of advertisement, while a ps3 game sell above 1-3mill on their 2nd month with barely any advertisements.
Now lets combine the two, advertisement and multi-console. That pretty much sums up the high sale numbers.
Now again if a game is able to make a sequel it mean one of the two, it sold an acceptable amount of units, or it was a popular demand.
oh wait, -IMO
the franchise will be on the safe side
and that's the whole truth
the trailer reminds me of kz3 giant mech battle.
a game with over the top action as gameplay with decent graphics gets a higher score than, a game with an cinematic gameplay with gorgeous visuals?
