I was wary about this game, so was glad to play the closed beta. I thoroughly enjoyed what I played, and look forward to the open one tomorrow. I'm not worried about it being a good game.

I know black ops had partial basis on the Vietnam war. In fact,it took place during the cold war as a whole, but America didn't win Vietnam, and they're not gonna base a game on a war that America lost. Hence only the partial use as a narrative in black ops.
I mean,what kind of game will America fighting a French war,despised by people at home, suffering hundreds of thousands of casualties and leaving the country to be taken by communists make?

The Last of Us was just a bump in response and framerate, no matter how good the game,thats all it is.
People are more focused on the quality of the original game than the point of the article,THE REMASTER. Nothing comes close to Gears on that level.
People look at modern warfare 2 as the last great one, but really it's the one that Brought in all the things that killed the franchise.
Poorly written, forgettable single player, guns with no recoiland an overload of equipment which took away from the skill element and most importantly, customisable killstreaks that turned it into a camp fest.
They're not gonna make a Call of Duty that America didn't 'win'. That's why theres no Vietnam one, either.
