Its not EA talking out there ass, well it could be, could be not. They said they did their research more than likely from focus group testing and those are the people that said it was too scary, not EA.
I've done plenty of focus testing, the goal of EA is just to try and get the product out to even more people. Its just simply business.

Have a friend just like that. Tried getting him to play DS1 after I finish it (day 1 purchase) and he was never the least bit interested. Now it plays more like shooter and he is hyped about it. Wish I knew where to get a Plasma Cutter right about now.
Left4Dead is what comes to mind after seeing that image,it will feature for player co-op but have some kind of twist of course. Just my opinion from that poster.

I gladly welcome new player, but when it stop me from playing the game I'm paying for its a problem. Yes I know its f2p and paying is an option, but I'd be getting less than half the game. That why I made the decision to quit.

A) Servers crash
B) 4K spot in line result in 20 minutes wait...

Not to be a pessimist but I'd pass on that. SOE can't program on the PS3 to save their jobs. DCUO is a hot mess on the PS3 and the servers reflect it. Ghost towns. I'll pass on that until they prove themselves.
Gamers today are the worst kind of whiners I've seen in a while. They cry about EVERYTHING. This is nothing to cry about. Pony up with the $5 extra or don't buy it, easy as that.
And the ignorance is shown even more when they direct their 'anger' at the developer instead of the publisher.

I get that devs are gamers too but the complexity for the average modder might be too way out for Dice to sacrifice dev time to make it simpler to use.

And its funny too, not that I really care but are they really saying Kinect voice recognition tech is so advanced? Last I checked Socom back on PS2 had voice tech that worked- sketchy as it might have been thats back in 2002. So thats just a poor excuse on Biowares part to bs the consumer and a reason for MS to say we NEED Kinect.
