Microsoft said in 2006 what Xbox is 2 gens ahead of time. We are now at the beginning of nex-gen 1.5 which will last till the end of 2011. Think about it as Gears 2 gfx x 2. That is what you can expect from Gears 3 on 360 in 2011. and gears 3 will also be on next box with better gfx as start title.
Tesselation & GPGPU calculations make it possible on 360. more awesome looking games to come in 2010 and 2011 for xbox 360. just wait e3.

Forza 3 was made in a hurray with only 6 mounth after TUrn 10 got X-engine. PGR5 has been in production by about 300 people. It will use 100% use of X-engine and tools.

it is all now possible because of dev now use all 360 hardware: tesselation, GPGPU, 3rd CPU core.
prime exemples: tesselation saves memory you can now spend on more polys on screen.
GPGPU can give you more float point calc power you can use on lighting calcs.

Yes, but 1% difference can't make PC version better for me because of pros console gaming have over PC gaming.
I can see no difference. XBOX has a lot of power to show us.
Gaming on consoles has more pros then gaming on PC: price, big tvs, sofa and co-op play with friends, more fun.
XBOX 360 has no power.
