None console is a "life changing". Sony only promises a better gaming experience and PSPro deliver it.

I think so but does not matter. PS-VR is not Rift/Vive. Don't do this.
Your PS4 will connect to your VR and VR will connect to the TV. But the VR not supports HDR so your TV will not show this feature. You will need to disconnect the VR cables and put them on the TV to use the HDR. There is no way to fix this. Sony should have put two HDMI ports on the VR or Slim/Pro. It is not a big problem at all but haters will do their jobs.
