No, it's the developer's fault for not checking their games for these types of mishaps, those who can take advantage will and those who won't will play the way it's meant to be. Exploits are taken advantage of in all points of life it's human nature.
These are already backwards compatible, I got Pac-man, Mrs. Pac-man and Galaga already on my X1
A lot of these developers forget that videogames are supposed to be fun, I understand that gamers love a challenge but don't mock or make fun of those that like to play for fun. I wasn't that impressed, I love the games for gold backwards compatibility. But damn near everything else I already seen and knew about or just plain uninterested they been talking about most of these games since E3 2013. Not saying none of the games are not worth playing, it's I've been patiently waiting for them to come out so I can play.
