A real gamer doesn't care about brand loyalty and owns at minimum 2 of the 3 consoles. For me who has no connection to Nintendo I will own both XBox One and PS4. Like this generation XBox One will be first and PS4 last. Why?

If you want to be THE media hub in the living room, you should have the ability to play BluRays, DVDs and CDs I suppose. Or somebody gifts you a game disk that you then can install and play. Makes any sense?
This is easy answered, they allow you to extend the size of your harddrive trough external harddrives you can plug into the usb port. In my mind a better and more flexible solution. As I know the size of the external drives in not restricted as it is with the XBox 360.
It is interesting that nobody has thought about the implications of Microsofts model.
On that model you can sell your digital-only game. This is something the current generation is not able to or as I understand it to this point is also not possible on a PS4. I don't think this is a bad message after all. I know that 24hrs check is annoying, but for some gamers like me this is not a problem because I am always online for example to play Dark Souls coop or PvP.

I think this blog entry gives a balanced view of that case. It is a positive example of arguing instead of downplay other opinions without facts behind it. I am not saying that he is right because we are all speculating until MS announced the console but he tries to see a bigger picture.
I did not say that you can't play games on the PS4 offline. What I said was that I don't think you need to be online on the MS console as a standard but mybe they will offer that as an option for publishers. And then I only asked, if MS gives publishers the option to prevent their games to be played offline, would Sony do the same?
So maybe I was right with that "brain rain", right? Just kidding :)

Do you really think? In this case you should look at all the lore videos from EpicNameBro on youtube. Maybe this changes your mind. Both games have excellent hidden stories, but you know, the story is hidden and not presented like in Skyrim for example.

what guy do you mean? the one on the stairs in the nexus or another one. I recomment for your first playthrough not to kill any NPCs because this changes your character tendency and makes the game even harder, especially if your world tends to white tendency which is the way when you killed one or more deamons in the world without dying in human form.

For getting the Talisman of Beast you need alter your character tendency or the world tendency. I would not recommend this for beginners. But you want to get this item the easiest way would be to turn world 2 into pure black tendency and kill ST instead of having a black character tendency and do all the assination quests for M. I also recommend to get the Crescent Falchion +1 from world 4 and upgrade this one, because it also have magic damage that helps you alot in the b...
Played both. Didn't see big differences in grafx but 360 version ran smoother than the PS3 version. Had some hiccups in my PS3 playthroughs that I had not with my 360 playthroughs. So i am happy with my 360 signature edition pre-order.
I don't know. Numbers for Mass Effect 2 for PS3 seems a little bit low, because in their Bioware forums they posted they were outsold in some of the stores (US). If the numbers are true and don't improve the next weeks, then this is the definitive version of Mass Defect for PS3;-)

I have to disagree. The Firmware is the base all games on the PS3 are running. Changes in Firmware can alter the behavior of games on the platform. If not, why some games needed to be patched after firmware changes were made? Especially if we talk about basic I/O functions like reading and writing of data into files. Did anybody read the reddit? He clearly says AAA titles can not be snapped which means cannot showed in the small snap window. Example: you looking netflix in the main window so you cannot snap the game in the second (snap) window. But you can play the game in the main window and snap a different app to it like IE, Skype or something else. Best example is the Twitch showcase they made. AAA Game in the main window, twitch app in the snap window.
