I Agree Also. Look at the iphone, it basically runs a light version of OS X and look how fast its been hacked. It's all about the market share and what entices these hackers.
Exactly.
To bad both of you don't know what you are talking about.
In case you forgot, the ps3 has 512MB of memory, same as the xbox. The difference is that it is split however, both 256mb of memory can be accessed by the cpu or gpu.
Because laptops come with 500 programs that you will never use.
Format the laptop and only install vista; you will see a huge difference.
I myself love Vista and it works just as good as my old xp box and laptop.
@Delt4
It is innovation. Sony is using a camera, not some baseball cap with tape and a wii sensor bar. This is called INNOVATION.
Even if that statement were true, I can assure you not even 2% of it is PURE, BLU-RAY 1080p quality, not the h264 codec crap. Or else it would be at least 40GB. We are still not ready for 40gb downloads. Once we all have 100mbit connections coming in to our houses from our ISP then we can start talking about digital distribution over the internet.
Obviously he meant the new generation (3d) of GTA. It was born on PS3.
On another note, the devs of GTA are not going to take advantage of the ps3 and make a superior version. First, it would take away from sales on the 360 version which I'm sure they spent tons of money on since everyone would get the superior version. Second, It would probably raise legal issues with Microsoft. I can keep going. Simply put there going to try to make equal versions of the same game to avoid any kind of...
Uhm.. This is not a FULL game, hence the 39.99 price. I can promise you the full version (GT5) will NOT be downloadable. Unless of course they don't mind people downloading 35+ GB of data from the PSN store.
EDIT: The CEO of Seagate obviously is mad about the current status of the formwar war, he is just blowing steam. HD formats are needed in todays games and software, in the future everything will be downloadable however until ISP's and internet backbones get insanely fast th...
Everyone was saying the same things about XP when it first came out.
IMO it is a great OS, better than XP. Of course, I have a $2000 computer I built a year ago running it so it runs perfect however installing SP1 made it run even faster. It never crashes on me and the games run perfect (8800GTX). I really have no complaints.
I hope so.
Hopefully they are as good as Naughty Dog and took advantage of the SPUs. If so, then I believe it can be better than the pc version.
Uhm, Haze is made by free Radical , ubisoft is the publisher
I really don't understand what the issue is! I have a 1080p screen however, if I go to system settings and uncheck 720p and leave only 1080i and 1080p checked then ALL my games automatically go to 1080p. This includes:
Ratchet
Uncharted
RFOM
WarHawk
Now, on my old TV that was only 1080i I only checked 1080i and all those games I just mentioned went to 1080i automatically. Try it for yourself.
Yeah, plays 99% of movie formats... but 0% actually work.
This is linux with a Gnome theme. Without video acceleration based on the CELL we won't get any kind of decent playback. (Maybe some divx files, but not encoded h264 files.) This is a BETA, and hardly any of it works.
It Won't, this is PS3 not Xbox. Sony and Insomniac for the win!
You mean no Microsoft products on the top ten.
I won't support it, nor use it until it has full Exchange 2003/2007 Push email, with wireless synchronization and the ability for remote wipes, etc. Until then its simply a kid's phone with no productivity at all.
Just because the GPU can be accessed through linux does not mean the PS3 can now Load ISO's, etc nor has it made it easier. We are far away from that. The only thing this means for now is we can play some homebrew games included N64 emulators, etc. Can't Wait!
Good, now I can go play online.... for free!
Actually, it's a very good series, VERY GOOD! This isn't like Halo... MGS is hyped for a reason, it's good. (unlike halo 2.5)
Actually, any software has holes. MAC OS X, Windows, FireFox, etc. all have holes. Whether or not hackers choose to exploit them is a different story. More people use Internet Explorer, that is a FACT so obviously as a hacker what software are you going to exploit to affect the most users possible??
