Bit of a random question, but can the camera be deactivated? I don't sure what the legal ramification are regarding children's privacy and an always on camera are.
I'm not worrying we'll get spied on or anything, but the idea of a camera just looking at the kids 24/7 isn't one I like.
I'd guess we can set up parental locks and switch it off, but so many parents don't do this and I worry with ability to cam at anytime. You could just meet so...
its simple but they dont want it simple if you buy something its yours period why on earth would i take a chance on a 60 $ game knowing damn well i cannot sell it or trade it in for a valued price. video game rentals is a huge deciding factor in me buying games
i did too but the quote from one of the main guys was yes u can play used games on the ps4 hows that ? gave no indication on a fee being or not being attached

now i love the idea of next gen consoles but with this DRM the only safe bet is nintendo sony has danced around this subject aswell in articles ive read gamers are in a free fall and hopefully the ones who don't use this DRM crap will get rewarded all the $$$ that comes along with this business

whats kinda scaring me is that shouldn't of sony came straight out and say we are NOT blocking used games or requiring full game installs ? or they keeping quite so M$ and their DRMboxone can't change their minds?
it means the price wont drop any more ;\ lol and this possibly opens the door for dreamcast 2 ? but this system cannot be the future of gaming and us gamers control the gaming future because we have our wallets, or purses make ur voice heard by ranting social media and by obviously not buying...
if our internet goes down we can still watch bluray movies!!! yayyyyyy i wont be able to play games i paid over 60$ for but i sure can watch a bluray movie... gamers needa step up and not buy this cancer of a console
the point is when you buy something its yours to do what u want with it period. and this line has been crossed by microsoft and hopefully sony doesn't cross it aswell or i wont buy any of them
its not always online only when you put in a disc and push play then u have to sign in to xbox live so it can verify u can play or PAY then u can sign off? disgusting
this makes no sense what so ever its like were being punished on this system and who knows what if hell freezes over and ps4 restricts games aswell ?full mandatory hyper HD games on layer bluray discs over 30gig installs
o yeah i got the new halo ill bring it over to play... pop it in o sweet theres only a 3 hour install? i hope sony sees the backlash and doesn't think twice about putting such restrictions on a Gaming console
this makes my decision alot easier all these restrictions and fees for more and more halo and gears games mixed with multiplatform games? yeah ill take 1 ps4 please.....ALL ps4 has to do is play used games without any restriction like NORMAL and not be required to be online ALL THE TIME and they have won.... lets see here xbox one doesn't have to be connected ? (so how will it know i just put in a used game)? because you have to be online to play a game? obviously

one of the main points in a bluray disc is that you have to almost intentionally scratch it for it to get damaged, but this xboxone ? lol man that name.... well they said its a full install and then u dont need the disc to play...
what did they expect i mean the fact is used games will be blocked and fees will be required kinnect 2 always watching not shipping with a mic because kinnect 2 is a mic...... yeah how about id rather have a corded mic to control background noise or embarrassing moments ?
