is this even coming out for ps3?
no, but a price cut and/or bundle would really surge sales in NA and europe
@ pog ^^^
i don't know what you mean by ps3 games having trouble running. all the games that i own/rented run fine and smoothly.
yeah. the majority of their casual games are on XBL. but primarily they are catering to hardcore gamers.
i agree. although i am a sony fan, i might pick up a 360 (premium or elite maybe) if they get the hardware issues fixed by the holidays. their lineup needs to compete with sony's big guns this year.
they don't really have an incentive to drop the price in the U.S. since 360 sales numbers are still pretty strong, unlike in Europe where the ps3 and wii maintain control. maybe a price cut around the fall or around the time gears of war 2 comes out.
isn't this already part of Gamestop's policy?
1.5 million? im not surprised if it sold 3-4 million
the sheer amount of content, not just graphics is taking up space, including audio. this is an epic game.
digital distribution is good as a supplement to good old fashioned retail sale.
in a word....yes. technology will always continually get better and better. but affordability and casual appeal will always prolong a console's lifetime.
I would say that the PS3 has the list of bigger potential bestsellers than 360, imho. Not to say that the 360 isn't up to snuff. it's got a list of good titles also.
I agree with PirateThom,
seeing as that the PS3 is at a higher price level, they have more incentive for price cuts. Also with the victory for Blu-ray as the de facto standard for HD format, further price cuts will be introduced when mass licensing will follow. MS has no incentive for a price cut since they have set aside $1 Billion for warranties and also since they are making a profit on the software side.
yeah this game can't come soon enough!
absolutely agree with DrWan and DanteLinkX......
i'd contemplate on getting a 360 if it was more reliable.
smash bros brawl up top and it's not even released in US yet? wow
i agree. GOTY.
^^
@9.1
I understand what you mean by why not reserve judgment until you see it? Haze, Getaway, and other future titles haven't even come out yet so why say they're crap?
so does the majority of the comps in the world. so what?
agreed. delays are great for further polishing and bug squashing. borderlands looks promising. definitely looking forward to that game.
