We are going to have to pay m$ 800 micro points, where as PC users will get it for free because valve knows wtf they are doing when it comes to gaming. M$ is still the newbie in this market, yet I'm afraid I'll have to pay it because I love l4d on my 52 inch tv, and yes... those maps should always have been versus... its not like its hard to do, just edit the maps so theres boundaries for the player zombies, and go through and make a .nav file for the AI director.

What an idiot. Don't read this article, I can tell just from the teaser that this is a simple communication error. Capcom, a company who used to make games likes RE1, and RE2, where you can't walk backwards, say "run-n-gun" they mean, in RE5 you can move with your gun equipped, so for the japanese company not used to shooters, says run and gun.. you hear running and gunning like quake, or hl, or cs, or cod, or w/e. You can run, and then gun in RE5, not run-n-gun.
I'm not a ps3 fanboy.

Its quite true, this game is like any other PC game, that ships on discs with bugs and has day 1 patches, and then patch to fix the bigger things asap.

Mikester, there are also so many instances where demos didn't display the true games potential, simply because they didn't show enough (i think the force unleashed demo needed more leveling up demonstrated) and simply because the games are still in beta form.
If you didn't like the play style of the game, yes you wont like the real thing. But then you might as well just never played the demo, or posted on this forum.

Linux can be tough, but you just need to start off with the right distribution. Ubuntu is very user friendly, along with Fedora, but you obviously don't know anything about linux, and you didn't even give it more than 3 tries?

Something no one has seemed to realize is that you haven't played it. The testers have, and I've spoken to a few. A few of these guys have been playing since January, and they aren't sick of it yet. That's got to say something, especially since they are testing it, not playing it.

I remembered getting killswitch because the cover system looked cool.
All gears of war fanboys think their cover system is innovative and new from other games, but I'd hate to break it to you kids, cliffy is human, and takes ideas from other humans, just like all video game designers do.
It was 'refined' I guess, because ever implementation in another game has to be done a little differently, but in killswitch I never remember trying to RUN somewhere and getting stuck in cover ins...
